Laure McElroy (Race, Poverty and Disability Scholar at Poor magazine,
welfareQueens performer and writer/editor of System Bitch) the event

Ex. Visual Art opening and Multimedia show on Thursday, May

St @ Bryant St, San Francisco, CA, INTERSECTION challenges the
representation of the identity "sex worker," often
portrayed as the image of a white empowered middle-class worker.
"Because the sex industry encapsulates an expansive range
of experiences and identities, the goal of INTERSECTION is to
provide an intentional space where the stories and art of people
of color in the sex industry take the principal role."
Everyone welcome! - Hook Collective has decided to pursue an
independent route for the show, which we fully support, so please
attend and enjoy, we will see you there!.
