In a small village in the north east of Thailand there are two kinds of families. Those who have a daughter married to a Dane, and those who don’t. Sex work encompasses not only bar work in so called “sex cities”, but also marriage in Ticket to Paradise, as Thai women are faced with complicated choices in their struggles to provide for their families. (2008-59 min.)

In a remote fishing village in Denmar, 575 Thai women live, all married to Danes. 15 years ago no Thais lived there. But one – Sommai.
